I WORK TO STANDARD

“Over the last few years, I have but up a customer base, built up a standard and I work to that standard.

My business survives on word of mouth and my customer recommend me to other people.”2017-01-04 03.45.03.jpg

THERE ARE SOME REALLY GOOD PEOPLE OUT THERE

“The continued after care that we give is not just about people paying money. It is also about doing a good job, with the proper equipment with the right training.

We deal with a lot of people every day and we are not just pierces and tattooists – we have got to be a brother, father, a social worker and a friend, because some people just want to talk.

When people come to see us they are vulnerable and when they sit on the couch, there tends to be a lot of nervous chatter.

There are some really good people out there, but there is also some ares-holes.

Our business rocks, we are nice guys and not greedy.”dscf6549

TATTOOS ARE BECOMING MORE SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE

“We like the people and spend a lot of time with the youngsters, but  welcome the full spectrum of ages including 70 year old women getting their first tattoo.

Tattoos are becoming more acceptable socially, the youngsters in the town of Weston-super-Mare are really into body art.”DSCF6542.JPG

I NEEDED TIME TO RECOVER

“I was a highly qualified engineer, fed up for working for the man, I had a look at body piercing got trained up and started piercing. Now I am a fully qualified body piercer.

The hardest thing about running a business was when I had a motor bike accident which hindered me a lot. I needed to take time out to recover. That is what I needed, but that was hard being self employed. It was a hard 3 years recovering.”dscf6559
